The Salt Museum in Pomorie presents the traditional method of sea salt production used in the region since ancient times. The salt pans operate through solar evaporation, a process that has remained almost unchanged over the centuries.
The exhibition includes original tools and outdoor salt basins. The museum tells the story of one of the oldest livelihoods along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and its importance to the development of Pomorie.
