The “Lagoon” area of the Pomorie Salt Pans is a protected natural territory and part of Via Pontica, one of Europe’s major bird migration routes. The area is also known for its healing mud, used in balneotherapy since the early 20th century.
The salt pans create a distinctive landscape that changes with the seasons, offering a calm and natural environment shaped by water, salt, and wildlife.
